Product Information Manager

PIM enables merchants to build a centralized source of product information. Data can be imported from different sources such as databases or flat files. Item descriptions can be enhanced, validated and refined with business rules and then distributed externally to various channels.

Copilot is the primary interface for working with fabric applications. You will need an active account, including an account ID, to access Copilot. Contact your Copilot Admin or Customer Success representative to obtain these credentials.

NOTE: Before any items are entered or imported, PIM must be configured to classify and categorize your products.

The first step is to create the required attributes list to define the basic product characteristics and then configure the attribute mapping.

The second step is to create a hierarchy to organize each product in the catalog. 

To launch PIM, login to your Copilot account and select PIM from the top menu bar on the Home page.

Catalog - view list of all goods and services and combine into groups sold together

Attributes - declare and assign properties for each record in PIM
